Sydney is the largest and the most populous city in Australia and it is New South Wales’ state capital. The bridge was built by Dr. John Bradfield back in1932. The Sydney Tower is the tallest free-standing structure in Sydney. The tower forms part of the larger Counterpoint shopping & offices complex. The tower was opened in 1981 and it has 3 major sections namely the observation deck, the 2 revolving restaurants, and the skywalk. The Rocks and Circular Quay is one of the oldest precincts in the city. The precinct in central Sydney is a major cultural and shopping attraction today.
The Sydney Town Hall, which was built in the 1880′s and which features Victorian architecture is a major attraction at the center of Sydney. It holds the Centennial Hall, Sydney’s Council Chamber, the councillors’ offices, and Lord Mayor offices. The Parliament House is famous for its beautiful Gregorian architecture. The Queen Victoria Building or QVB is also a must-see sightseeing Sydney spot. Other popular sightseeing spots in the city include the Royal Botanical Gardens, Luna Park, different museums, and different art galleries.
